Meet the leadership team
EZIs team of seasoned executives have real world experience in leading organizations and talent to success spanning Security, Infrastructure & IT Operations, R&D, Professional Services, Marketing, and Finance throughout many industry verticals.
Thibault Serlet founded the Startup Societies Foundation in 2015, a nonprofit which studies and promotes Special Economic Zones and new city projects. He has previous interned at a VC firm which invests in SEZ projects and worked at several startups in the fields of cybersecurity and Bitcoin.
Preston graduated from George Mason University in 2015 with a degree in Government and International Politics. He previously co-founded the Startup Societies Foundation, and worked at a brokerage firm in Washington, D.C. before continuing his interest in geopolitics and experimental governance with EZI.
Simon Sarevski studies economics at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Skoje in Macedonia. He plans on attending graduate school next year to specialize in public choice economics.
Guillermo Hernandez heads EZIs Latin America research division. He is a Venezuelan student who was recently forced to flee to Chile to escape his country's political turmoil. He is currently the web developer at the Startup Societies Foundation.
In addition to being an EZI research associate, Aditya is a high school student living in Singapore. At university, he plans on double majoring in economics and mathematics, with a specialization in developmental economics. He is currently focused on the Austrian school of economic thought.
